Reflecting on ‘From Play to Impact’ – Thank you for joining us at London Games Festival

Yesterday, PlanetPlay CEO Rhea Loucas had the honour of taking part in London Games Festival’s New Games Plus programme with an energising panel discussion, From Play to Impact: Gaming as a Force for Environmental Change.

Held at the 150 London Wall venue, the session brought together brilliant minds from across entertainment, game development, and platform strategy to explore how the power of play can help tackle one of the greatest challenges of our time: climate change.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone who joined us in the room, and engaged with the ideas shared.

A Special Thank You to Our Incredible Panel:

Tristan Clark, Co-founder of Trailmix

Briana Evigan, Actress, Green Advocate and Founder of Abundant Village

Robbie Hopkins, Partnership Development Manager, Google Play Games

Jennifer Estaris, Game Director at ustwo games

And huge thanks to our amazing moderator Wayne Emanuel, Videogame Strategy & Business Development Consultant

We Discussed

  • How games can raise awareness about the climate crisis
  • How studios can integrate sustainability into in-game activations
  • The role of platforms in amplifying green content
  • How entertainers are using their voice to drive change
  • How campaigns like PlanetPlay’s Make Green Moves are turning gameplay into carbon-saving, biodiversity-supporting action

Join the Movement
