Fishing Clash has been a huge hit - what is the secret to its success?

How are you participating in PlanetPlay's 'Make Green Tuesday Moves' campaign?
At Ten Square Games, we have a history of collaborating with PlanetPlay on environmental-focused projects, using gaming as a force for good. When the Make Green Tuesday Moves (MGTM) initiative launched in April 2024, we were honored to join as a founding partner—a decision we made without hesitation, knowing that we could help drive real-world climate action through gaming.
Our involvement has grown alongside the initiative, expanding as we found new ways to engage players and maximise impact:
We started with exclusive codes available on the PlanetPlay marketplace, donating % of revenues to PlanetPlay’s sustainability projects, particularly The Hongera Project – Providing clean cookstoves to families in Kenya.
To take our engagement further, we introduced in-game green bundles, allowing players to support MGTM directly within Fishing Clash.
Recognising the power of high-profile collaborations, we helped expand MGTM’s reach by launching celebrity-backed events in Fishing Clash:
David Hasselhoff (July 2024) – Bringing global attention to the initiative.
Joe Jonas (October 2024) – Inspiring players worldwide to support PlanetPlay’s projects.
Demi Lovato (December 2024) – Leveraging the musician’s popularity to promote the sale of the in-game green bundle, using our marketing campaigns to amplify awareness and player participation.
By integrating sustainability into Fishing Clash's core experience, we make climate action accessible, engaging, and impactful for players around the world. Our role as a founding partner of MGTM reflects our long-term commitment to leveraging the power of gaming to drive meaningful environmental change.
In previous years, Ten Square Games has actively supported PlanetPlay’s sustainability efforts by donating funds to its projects, with a particular focus on the Hongera Project, which provides clean cookstoves to families in Kenya.
Why is environmental action important to Ten Square Games?

As part of our ESG strategy, we have set clear environmental goals:
- calculating and reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions to minimise our carbon footprint.
- raising climate awareness at Ten Square Games—engaging employees in sustainability topics through internal initiatives.
- encouraging players to take climate action through in-game activations, educational initiatives, and partnerships like Make Green Tuesday Moves.
Through initiatives like MGTM, we use gaming as a powerful tool for good, enabling players to have fun while contributing to a more sustainable future.
Are there any other CSR initiatives or goals you're working on?
In 2024, we adopted a new ESG strategy following extensive workshops and internal discussions. After months of analysis, we identified 11 strategic ESG goals, ensuring that ESG is interwoven with our business conduct and long-term strategy. These goals provide a structured framework for our involvement in social, environmental, and governance areas, with a primary focus on social and workforce topics, followed by environmental and governance priorities.

What’s the next big thing to come out of Ten Square Games?
At Ten Square Games, we are continuously evolving, with an exciting roadmap ahead that aims to expand our player base, explore new opportunities, and further integrate sustainability into our long-term vision.
In Fishing Clash and Hunting Clash, we remain focused on expanding the success of our two flagship games by introducing new game mechanics, events, and collaborations to enhance player engagement. Both projects began experimenting with new features in 2024, and 2025 is expected to offer players an even more engaging experience in both titles. An important development for Fishing Clash is the renewal of our partnership with Major League Fishing (MLF) for 2025, strengthening our connection with the professional fishing community. This collaboration bridges the gap between virtual and real-world fishing, offering unique experiences that resonate with fans, players, and anglers worldwide. Through virtual tournaments mirroring real-life MLF events, we continue to bring the excitement of competitive fishing to our players while deepening connections between fans and the sport. As part of this partnership, Fishing Clash is also the official sponsor of the Angler of the Year award, further solidifying its presence within the professional fishing community.
Similarly, Hunting Clash has benefited from a partnership with Beretta, adding realism and depth to the player experience. By collaborating with brands that share our passion for outdoor sports, we ensure that our games remain authentic, engaging, and aligned with real-world experiences.
With Wings of Heroes, we are committed to further development and expansion in the competitive flight simulation genre, strengthening its position in the market.
Alongside these advancements, we are also working on two new prototypes: Trophy Hunter, which expands our expertise in hunting simulation games, and a new flight simulator from Rortos, designed to reinforce our presence in aviation gaming.
Beyond strategic game development, these initiatives provide greater opportunities to engage players worldwide and raise awareness about sustainability through gaming. We are already working on exciting in-game projects that will further engage players in sustainability efforts, reinforcing our commitment to using gaming as a platform for positive environmental action. 2025 also marks the first full year of our ESG strategy aligned with CSRD requirements, bringing a more structured approach to ESG initiatives and the introduction of new reporting standards that will ensure greater transparency and accountability in our sustainability efforts.
